Contributing Scholars

More than forty scholars have contributed chapters, critical apparatus, or editorial work to titles on our list. They are affiliated with research institutions in Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Editorial Board

The editorial board sets acquisition policy, appoints referees, and takes final responsibility for every title the press issues. Board members serve three-year terms.

Referees

Our referee pool is drawn from specialists in Central Asian history, sociology, economics, political science, and philology. Referees are not compensated and their identities are not disclosed to authors.

Joining the pool

Scholars holding a doctorate and an active publication record in a relevant field are welcome to propose themselves as referees. Please write to the editorial office with a current CV and a note on your areas of competence.
