For Authors
What we consider
Scholarly monographs, critical editions, and edited volumes in the Social Sciences and Humanities, with emphasis on Central Asia and the wider Turkic world. We do not publish textbooks, festschrift volumes without a unifying scholarly argument, or revised theses submitted without substantial reworking.
Submitting a proposal
Send the following to the editorial office:
- A proposal of three to five pages stating the argument, the source base, the intended readership, and the relation of the work to existing scholarship
- A full table of contents with chapter abstracts
- Two sample chapters, including the introduction
- A current academic CV
Manuscripts may be in Kyrgyz, Russian, Turkish, or English. Do not send the complete manuscript with the initial proposal.
